Brick Tower
This is the tower of an old factory in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have no idea why a tower was necessary, but it is a beautiful feature with great detail. This kind of ornamentation on a factory/warehouse is surprising to our modern mind-set, but wonderful nonetheless. This is an era long and sadly past.
Two Columns
I am pleased to say that I have recently heard that this historic residence is being restored.
Still Standing
Porch columns on the front of an old house in Longview, Texas. Though abandoned and neglected for years, these stately columns are still standing. I'm happy to say that the house is being restored.
